COVID-19 Protocols and Policies
Our top priority is the health and safety of our performers, volunteers, patrons, and community. We have established these protocols and policies for our 2021 – 2022 season.
Vaccination Policy
Our singers, artistic leadership, volunteers and contractors are 100% vaccinated. “Community” is one of our core values, and we believe we have a responsibility to protect one another. All guests, staff, and performers will be required to show proof of vaccination prior to entering the venue. Children who are not yet eligible for vaccination will be required to show proof of a negative PCR test within two days or a negative antigen test within one day of the scheduled performance.
According to the CDC, a person is fully vaccinated two weeks after receiving all recommended doses in the primary series of their COVID-19 vaccination. A person is up to date with their COVID-19 vaccination if they have received all recommended doses in the primary series and one booster when eligible. Getting a second booster is not necessary to be considered up to date at this time. We require that our patrons be fully vaccinated, and recommend that they be up to date with their vaccines. You may show us your CDC vaccination record, a copy or photo of your CDC vaccination record, or a digital record of your vaccine from your state health record or provider. California residents may request a digital vaccination record at myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov.
Masks
Based on current guidelines, masks will be optional for patrons, volunteers, and the orchestra. When not required, masks are strongly encouraged for all indoor venues. Masks will be optional for singers, who will have completed a negative rapid COVID test prior to each performance.
Compliance
Guests who refuse to comply with these policies will not be admitted to the venue.
Updates
We will continue to be guided by science, and will update these policies when necessary based upon local, state, and federal guidelines and recommendations.
