Raymond Egan

Dr. Raymond EganDr. Raymond Egan holds degrees in music from Eastman, Westminster Choir College, and the University of Southern California. As a composer, he has had commissions from numerous schools and churches; his choral music can be heard on the CD Ancient Partners, and is published by Gentry Music and Epiphany Music. His volume of organ hymns, New Takes on Old Hymns, is published by Pavane Publishing. His arrangements appear in The Earth and Spirit Songbook, and are published by Epiphany Music and Laurendale Associates. As a conductor he has premiered his own works and those of other composers in the U.S. and Australia. He has appeared as organ soloist with the Eastman Rochester and Rochester Philharmonic orchestras, and in solo recitals throughout the United States. As a jazz performer he has performed with artists including Steve Gadd, Joel DiBartolo and Lisa Rich.
