Kathyrn BaldasariKathryn Baldasari, Chief Financial Officer
Kathy Baldasari was elected to the Board in 2000 and has been the CFO for most of that time. She has been singing with the OCWC since 1998. Kathy is a retired Engineering manager from Raytheon Network Centric Systems, where she was responsible for metrics development and analysis for the California Region's Software Center. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from Stanford University and a Master of Science Degree in Operations Research from the University of California - Berkeley. Marjorie BealeMarjorie A. Beale, Tours and Commissioning
Marjorie Beale was re-elected to the OCWC board in 2014, having previously served from 2010 - 2012. She has been singing with the OCWC since 2000. Marjorie is Executive Director of Development, Foundation Relations, and Principal Gifts for the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) in Pasadena, CA. Prior to Caltech, she secured funding for projects related to the quantitative natural and social sciences as part of USC’s $6 billion campaign. As the lead fundraiser for the natural sciences at the University of California, Irvine, she raised over $110 million for research projects spanning a range of academic disciplines.  In an earlier career, she taught undergraduate and graduate courses in modern European history at UC Irvine, Rutgers, Berkeley and the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris, and published The Modernist Enterprise with Stanford University Press in 1999.  She holds a BA summa cum laude from Harvard, and an MA and PhD from UC Berkeley in modern European History.  A mezzo-soprano, Marjorie has a longstanding interest in the arts, and has served as a board member for Long Beach Opera, the ARCS Foundation and the Orange County Women’s Chorus. Janet BrattonJanet A. Bratton, Operations
Janet Bratton was elected to the Board in 2001 and has been a singer in the OCWC since 1999. She is a retired senior manager in software engineering for Raytheon Network Centric Systems (NCS). Janet is a Certified Raytheon Six Sigma Expert and was one of the four NCS Six Sigma Performance Leads responsible for managing Six Sigma activities across the NCS national organization. Janet holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics from California State University Fullerton. Prior to her math degree, she completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music at California State University Los Angeles as the first woman to graduate from the classical guitar program. Heather Spickard, Audience Development Heather was elected to the board in 2015 to complete a vacant one-year term, and has just been re-elected for a three-year term in 2016. Heather studied Japanese and lived as a foreign-exchange student in Japan in high school. She went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Japanese at Oregon State University. She recently completed her master's degree in educational technology at California State University-Long Beach, and is currently working as an educational technologist for Apple, Inc. Heather is passionate about choral music, and brings her boundless energy and enthusiasm to the OCWC board. She is a key member of the fundraising and development team, and is assisting with marketing and public relations as well as technology needs. Heather can be reached at

Shauna Eheler, Legal/Administrative and Fundraising Shauna is a singer with OCWC and was elected to the Board in 2015. She has degrees in Peace Studies and Vocal Performance from Chapman University, as well a professional background in legal administration in the entertainment industry. She has worked at The Tennis Channel, DreamWorks Animation and most recently, MySpace, where she was responsible for managing the administration of standard and digital entertainment contracts while the company transitioned its primary objective to a promotion of independent musicians. As a soprano, Shauna has a long-established relationship with music; she has participated in four international tours with three different music ensembles, and has performed both lead and supporting roles in over a dozen opera productions. Allison HiegerAllison Hieger, Chorus Connections
Allison Hieger was elected to the board in 2012 and has been a singer in the OCWC since 2010.  She has spent ten years managing arts education programs at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, The Metropolitan Opera Guild, Midori & Friends, and The Pacific Symphony.  Due to her passion for working in the arts and with children, Allison earned her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Cal State Fullerton and has been actively teaching students (K-6) in the Fullerton School District.  She is also a Curriculum Consultant and Teacher Workshop Presenter for the Pacific Symphony's Class Act Program.  Allison holds a Masters in Performing Arts Administration from NYU and a Bachelors degree in Voice from Vanderbuilt University's Blair School of Music.  She is a professional singer and has sung with Nashville Opera, Frank Best & Ingram Entertainment, and numerous musical theater and choral groups. Mary Langsdorf

Mary C. Langsdorf, President
Mary Langsdorf is the founding Board president, and hosted the original planning meeting for the group that would become the OCWC in the summer of 1997. She has been singing with the group since the first rehearsal. She retired from her position as Senior Vice President of Finance at PacifiCare Health Systems, Inc. in 2001 to spend more time with her family after nearly thirteen years of progressively responsible positions in the corporate finance department. Prior to PacifiCare, she worked as an audit manager for Ernst & Young, LLP. Mary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in international management and accounting, and was licensed as a CPA in the state of Connecticut. She can be reached at

Mary Watson, Fundraising Mary Watson is a founding member of the Orange County Women's Chorus. She served on the original board and led the process of incorporation in 2000. She returned to the OCWC board in 2015 after serving as president of the board of Innovative Housing Opportunities for fifteen years. Mary is trained as a gerontologist and served as the Associate Director of Geriatric Medicine at the UCI School of Medicine for nearly ten years. She has always been an advocate for the under-served, establishing free health clinics that became the basis for the clinical programs at the Orange County Rescue Mission, consulting on AIDS in non-white communities in Orange County, and working with developers of retirement and senior living communities.
